Masqueman is Mask Man

One of the questions I often get is "Why do you call yourself Masqueman?" The answer is simple. I collect masks from all over the world from many different cultures. I have over 130 masks on display in my home and they are great conversation starters during parties. The best compliment I ever got was that my living room looks like a scene out of an Indiana Jones movie!

Each mask I own tells a story, represents a culture or belief. As different parts of the world become homogenized, cultural diversity becomes more important to me. I look for objects that tell of a different time when an artisan would take weeks to create one item by hand. Several ethnic cultures are quickly disappearing, but their presence can be felt in my mask collection. Enjoy browsing.
